Start Time: Coaches meeting at 7:30 AM (Bellevue East Courts) | Play begins at 8:00 AM
The 27th Annual Chieftain Tennis Invitational will welcome nine schools to compete in a round robin format followed by cross-pool placement matches. Matches will be played across two locations with #1 Singles and #1 Doubles at Bellevue East and #2 Singles and #2 Doubles at Bellevue West.
Invited Schools:
Bellevue East, Bellevue West, Brownell-Talbot, Omaha Westview, Omaha Central, Duchesne Academy, Ralston, Gretna, Omaha Bryan
Tournament Format:
- Each team enters: #1 Singles, #2 Singles, #1 Doubles, and #2 Doubles
- Players/teams are seeded and grouped into three pools for round robin play
- After pool play, teams advance to cross-pool matches to determine final placement (1st–9th in each division)
- Placement tiebreakers: Highest winning percentage in pool or cross-pool play
Entry Fee: $100 per school – payable to Bellevue East
Lunch: Provided for coaches
Lineup Submission Deadline: Tuesday, April 29, 2025 (via Google Doc emailed to coaches)
Awards:
- Event Medals: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place
- Team Awards: 1st and 2nd Place Plaques
