Intentionally Missing Free Throws with Rob Senderoff – Kent State Univ.

Watch as Coach Rob Senderoff explains a situation when his team will intentionally try to miss a free throw. The rule is if the clock is under 4 seconds and you are down by 3 points, then your players know that you will intentionally miss the foul shot. The shooter’s stance will be to the right of their normal stance, and they will shoot their normal shot. The difference is they will shoot the ball as soon as the Ref gives it to them. The inside players will wedge hard to the inside and try to tip the ball. The perimeter players are flying to the corners.
