USSSA Announces Return of Chris Ethridge and Jeremiah Haar to Baseball in DFW

VIERA, Fla. — The United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), the No. 1 multi-sport association in the country, announced the return of Chris Ethridge and Jeremiah Haar, to USSSA Baseball in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. As Directors, both will be responsible for running baseball events and facilities in the region.  
 
Both Ethridge and Haar have played integral roles in shaping tournament organizations throughout the DFW Metroplex and have supported numerous academy programs over the years. 
 
Haar, a former professional baseball player with the Texas Rangers and Miami Marlins, is the Co-Founder of Baseball Nation LLC (2009). He has served as the Vice President of Ballpark Operations for 15 years overseeing and supporting the development and management of premier baseball facilities with extensive experience in operations, facility management and field construction and renovations.

Ethridge, a former Head Coach and club owner with the Dallas Tigers Baseball Organization (Rockwall, TX), holds over 15 years of coaching experience, having worked with teams ranging from 9U to collegiate levels. In addition to his on-field coaching expertise, Ethridge has held key roles in facility management, food and beverage operations, and tournament coordination. He has also served as an umpire with the Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO), further demonstrating his deep knowledge of the game officiating at various levels of play. With a career spanning customer service, sports management, coaching, and event operations, he has earned a reputation as a respected leader in the sports community. Chris is currently the Head Coach and Director of Texas Sports Baseball. 
 
“I have had the privilege of playing many tournaments over the years with my club teams and coaching my own kids in USSSA events and I was saddened to see them leave the DFW area,” added Chris Ethridge. “The USSSA system helped develop many of my players to the next levels of their playing careers and I am very honored and excited to be a part of bringing USSSA back to DFW!” 
 
“We are excited to welcome Chris and Jeremiah back to USSSA Baseball,” said Frank Griffin, National Director of Baseball Operations. “I have had the privilege of working closely with both Chris and Jermiah in the past, and I am excited to watch their leadership and expertise be instrumental in the continued growth and success of the sport in the DFW area.”
