Little League® International mourns the passing of Robert Rodriquez Flores, Jr., Texas District 15 Administrator. He was 57.
Mr. Flores, a native of Houston, was elected as Texas District 15 Administrator in October of 2020, after serving five years on the district staff. Prior to volunteering at the district level, he was a local league manager for five years in Houston’s East End Little League and spent 26 years as a coach. In total, he volunteered more than 40 years of service to the Little League program.
A retired Programmer Analyst for the Harris County (Texas) Juvenile Probation Department with 35 years seniority, Mr. Flores also volunteered as Little League umpire and player agent and attended the Little League International Congress in 2014 and 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Luann; son, Michael; father, Robert; and sisters, Linda and Debra. Mr. Flores was preceded in death by his mother, Marie; and first wife, Lola.
