Little League® International recently added a new member to its Headquarters staff in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, with the hiring of Rachel Duda as its Financial Systems Analyst.
“Rachel is an exciting addition to the Little League team as we continue to develop the support for our local leagues and evolve our business operations,” said Andy Frederick, Little League Senior Director of Information Services. “Her experience as an auditor will be indispensable in our future finance projects. We are very glad to have Rachel onboard.”
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Information Services, Ms. Duda will serve as the technical liaison to Little League International’s finance department and Treasurer, supporting the company’s current finance systems, implementing new solutions, and ensuring that financial best practices are being followed.
“I feel so lucky to be able to combine my love for baseball and softball with my knowledge of finance and business operations for the absolute dream job here at Little League,” said Ms. Duda. “I am happy to be back home in the Williamsport area and to be able to contribute to this amazing community.”
A 2019 graduate of Lycoming College with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Ms. Duda previously served as an Associate Auditor at RKL LLP in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, where she helped assist with financial statements, developed client and project risk assessments, and handled research. Ms. Duda also spent more than six months as a Healthcare Commercial Finance Intern for First Quality Products where she helped assemble financial reports and maintained data in the company’s database. During her time at Lycoming College, Ms. Duda also served as a member of the softball team and was a PICPA Student Ambassador for the Accounting Society.
